Dr. Michelle and staff are beyond fantastic. I have been a Pt. of hers and Happy Hormones (HH) for over three years now. In short for a review I would say "Michelle and staff are as awesome as it gets, highly recommend for anything in the hormone dept!" If that's all you need, great! If you like lengthy/lengthier reviews, read on. I am currently 45 years old. I came to her mainly seeking help with a Thyroid issue that I developed suddenly following a series of second-hand traumas. I also hold a stressful career and am a fire wife, raising two wonderful kids.At the time, my primary care was leading me down a path of treatment that offered little improvement. I knew there had to be more help out there with a different approach to help me delve deeper into exactly how my body is functioning and what my true deficiencies are. Holding hands with the Thyroid issue, I came to HH with a BMI was too high for my body, (168lbs when 140 is my healthy weight) likely pre-menopausal, and I could feel that how badly my hormones were suffering. I was in a depressing state of survival mode. I have always been a very active, happy and social person. I take on way more than I can accomplish and am a giver to a fault. Everyone else's needs came before mine (IYKYK). Once the things happened that did, I simply had to own the fact that my body had started rejecting itself and I had officially run this machine to the ground. That I was the one who needed the most help this time, severely. From day one I knew I was in better hands. In fact, my most recent revealed that my Thyroid is improving! My cholesterol has also improved over 30 points! I also received some weight loss assistance with a goal of 30lbs and I am proud to have lost 43lbs. If you think you might have hormone problems, get tested with Michelle! I wish I would have done this 5 years earlier! Not only does Michelle test your hormones, she listens to you and is completely honest on what she thinks will help. I have been using Happy Hormones MD for 2 years. I have been very successful improving my health, all due to Michelle! Being in menopause caused my organs, hormones and blood enzymes to be very low causing many side effects and some too high creating more side effects.
